Decision: the action or process of deciding something or of resolving a question.
There's something that you want that you don't have, simply because you haven't decided to have it. It is that simple.
Many of us think that a certain amount of time has to elapse for us to be truly decided. For us to be ready to take action. And for us to be able to embody the essence of the decision. In doing so, we prolong the process of becoming the version we see for ourselves.
Think about it. Everything we do is based off how we think we are going to feel. So every decision is made with a feeling in mind. And this is EXACTLY why so many people avoid decisions: what they really want will REQUIRE them to feel something new.
Maybe the avenue you want to take in your life requires you to be willing to do it scared. Maybe what will be required of you is being willing to be rejected. And maybe what is required of you is to be willing to feel BRAVE without the comfort of the now-known circumstances.
As you read this, what's coming up for you? Is that decision that you've been swimming in the middle of rising to the top of your mind? If so, that's your cue to decide.
Do it scared.
What's on the other side of fear? We are about to find out.
PS. The best way to decide and be willing to feel any emotion is to be incredibly intimate with yourself. Do the work of flossing out your mind. See what thoughts you've been tolerating for too long and begin the process of opting out of them.
It's all possible.
If you believe it is.
I do.
